Wednesdsay, 3.14pm. THE official opening of a new £4 million office development in Sleaford took place last Wednesday.
It is hoped that the new development will lead to the creation of up to 300 new jobs for the town.

The leader of North Kesteven District Council, Coun Marion Brighton, officially opened the site, which has already been part occupied by several businesses.

Mrs Brighton expressed the hope that the new office park will encourage more new business into the district.

She said: "It is the first office development of this type to be built in Sleaford and so is a clear reflection of strong economic development within the town.

"By encouraging businesses to the area we will not only create jobs for the people of Sleaford, but also improve prosperity for the whole of the district."

The Point is situated just off the A17 by-pass on the Sleaford Enterprise Park.

Businesses who have already taken up units include Lincolnshire Primary Care Trust, independent financial advisors The Heritage Partnership, The British Red Cross, which operates its medical equipment loans service for the area from The Point, the Identity and Passport Service and Arion Training and Development Limited.

Developers of the site are New Park Projects and Nottingham-based Bournston Commercial Developments.

Hodgson Elkington and Humberts are the joint agents responsible for marketing the 33,000 sq ft development.
