SLEAFORD has a new Rotary Interact Club based at St George's College.
It was in February of this year that the Rotary Club of Sleaford made the decision to try to establish an Interact club in the town, because they felt that there was need for the club to bridge the generation gap and introduce younger people to Rotary.

A club spokesman said: “After contacting local schools the Interact Club of Sleaford St George’s was formed.

“The club has a Rotarian adviser, Debra Cressey from the Rotary Club of Sleaford, and a faculty adviser, Chris Milnes, vice-principle at St George’s College of Technology.

“The club meets at least twice a month and through its service activities, Interactors learn the importance of developing leadership skills and personal integrity, demonstrating helpfulness and respect for others, understanding the value of individual responsibility and hard work and advancing international understanding and goodwill.”
