Affordable homes

COUNTY-based housing provider, L and H Homes has just completed a £2.65m million development bringing much needed affordable housing to the Navenby area.

Jubliee Way, off High Dyke, was built for Longhurst and Havelok Homes, part of the Longhurst not-for-profit housing group, by local construction company Lindum. There are 18 homes available for rent, consisting of two and three bedroom flats, houses and bungalows, along with six, two and three bedroom houses for shared ownership.

A £363,000 investment was provided by the Homes and Communities Agency, the national housing and regeneration agency for England. This has ensured residents will benefit from solar panels supplying hot water along with a high standard of finish and specification to provide comfort and security. Mike Hardy, Managing Director of L and H Homes, said: “We have a long established, partnership with Lindum, built up over several successful schemes over the years.”
