A special recipe by a Sleaford woman has been chosen out of hundreds of recipes to appear in a book ‘by mums, for mums’.
Fans of the Flora Facebook page were urged to submit their favourite healthy but tasty recipes to be featured in a brand new cook book and Donna Callaby submitted her home-made lamb tagine, which was selected by celebrity chef Jean-Christophe Novelli to be one of just 30 recipes in the book.
Donna’s meal was chosen because of its originality, ease of preparation, taste and appearance, and will feature in the book entitled Let’s Get Cooking, Everyday recipes by mums (and dads).
She said: “I’m so surprised that I won a place in the Flora cook book! The recipe is a dish passed to me by a friend of the family. It’s so easy to create but it tastes amazing. I’m sure anyone that cooks this recipe will enjoy it.”
Novelli added: “Donna’s lamb tagine was utterly delicious – the perfect family treat.”
