RESURFACING work will begin on the A607 between Fulbeck and Carlton Scroop on Tuesday May 8 and will go on until Thursday May 31.
Five roads will be improved: the A607 Fulbeck, Cliff Road; Fulbeck, Kiln Lane (traffic will be diverted via Washdyke Road, High Street and vice versa); A607 Caythorpe, Lincoln Road; A607 Carlton Scroop, Main Street and Carlton Scroop, Charity Street (traffic will be diverted via A607, Sudbrooke Road and vice versa).
For works on the A607, traffic will be diverted via A607, A17, B6403, A153 A607 and vice versa. Vehicles taller than 4.1m will be diverted via A607, A17, A15, A153, A607 and vice versa, avoiding Ancaster rail bridge. The work will be carried out under night-time road closures, weekdays from 6.30pm – 5.30am with the exception of Charity Street, which will be closed 6.30pm – 11pm.
Tim Mawson, project leader, said: “These road improvements will take place at night to minimise disruption to local bus services and motorists. This work will see the roads restored to top condition and safe to use.”
