Blushing brides looking for a head start on their dream dress need look no further than a brand new bridal store this weekend.
Love and Lace Bridal, located on Station Road in Sleaford, are officially opening their doors to the public on Sunday (June 16) and owners Sarah Henderson and Jo Nott are inviting all brides in the area to come and see what they have to offer.
The open day is running from 11am to 3pm and all brides will receive a goodie bag which includes a free copy of Wedding Ideas magazine, as well as plenty of leaflets from local bridal companies.
Also there on the day will be stylist from WellBeing salon on East Road, who will offer advice for brides on how to wear their hair or how to accessorise, and Karen James will also be fund raising for Joel’s Quest with her sweetie trees.
Love and Lace was opened just five weeks ago by Jo and Sarah after they met at their children’s primary school and they decided to combined their talents and open their own business, with Jo’s expertise in making bridal jewellery and Sarah’s seamstress skills.
Sarah said: “This is the most rewarding of retail, seeing people cry when they find their perfect dress is amazing.”
Jo added: “We’ve had a lot of lovely comments and positive feedback from brides and our suppliers. We encourage women to try on as many dresses as possible because one style won’t suit everyone, and we want them to feel good and look amazing on their big day.”
There are dresses by several designers to choose from in their store, including Bonny, True Bride and Dessy as well as the special White Rose and Unforgettable ranges for curvier brides.
