A high voltage fault triggered a short power cut in Sleaford this morning.
It knocked out lights for about 10 minutes from around 7.10am and caused disruption as the traffic lights at Southgate level crossing did not switch on again as a result.
Western Power Distribution reported there was a high voltage fault on the network but the cause is unknown at the moment. Over 900 properties in the Sleaford and Quarrington areas were affected. The vast majority have now been restored.
“We are sorry for any inconvenience,” said a company spokesman.
