THE Holdingham roundabout and the A15 north of the roundabout is set to be resurfaced this week.
The work will take place between 7pm tonight (Monday) and 7am on Saturday September 29, subject to weather conditions. The road surface has already been scraped back and temporary ramps put down in readiness for the work.
Arthur Pearson, principal engineer, said: “To complete the work we need to remove the crash barrier on the approach to the dual carriageway. To keep motorists safe we will therefore close one lane of traffic for vehicles entering the dual carriageway from the east and exiting the dual carriageway west.
“We will be doing our very best to keep motorists on the move while we enhance the road surfaces.”
The A15 north of the roundabout and the B1518 Lincoln Road into Sleaford will be closed 7pm to 7am during the works. Local diversion routes will be signposted.
The A15 bypass south of the roundabout will be open in both directions as normal.
