Sleaford Library is offering free courses helping
web novices get savvy
online.

The courses are designed to help those getting tangled as they make their first steps onto the web.

The Internet taster sessions take place on Monday, February 9, 10.30am to 12noon; Wednesday, February 11, 10.30am to 12noon and Thursday, February 12, 2pm to 3.30pm.

Kay Ablard, team leader at Sleaford Library, said: “These informal sessions are aimed at teaching the basics.

“So if you’ve never, or hardly ever, used the internet, this is the course for
you.

“Our team members will go at a pace to suit each individual, and bring you up to speed on how to search the net safely.”

To book your place onto one of the courses, contact the Library Service on 01522 782010 or visit Sleaford Library in the Market Place. The library has a number of computers which members can use for free.
