Help shape district’s new gambling policy

NORTH Kesteven District Council is looking for its residents’ comments on updating
its policy on the gambling industry.

The council is guided by this policy, renewed every three years, when issuing licences to businesses like betting offices and registering small society lotteries.

Anyone who lives or works in the district can comment by going to the District Council’s website www.n-kesteven.gov.uk and visiting the Licensing home page. You can also write to the Council Licensing Team at North Kesteven District Council, Kesteven Street, Sleaford, Lincolnshire, NG34 7EF, or email licensingteam@n-kesteven.gov.uk. Closing date is September 23. Comments will be considered and any necessary amendments made.

The Gambling Act is designed to prevent crime, make sure gambling is fair and children and vulnerable people are protected from harm or exploitation.
