A photography business is keeping the local community squarely in focus alongside its varied work.

World On A Tripod was established in 2012 by professional photographers Alex Mentzel and Mel Nader after starting out life online.

It provides a digital photographic and retouching service for personal or commercial enterprises.

The company, which relocated to the Sleaford area from Lincoln last year, includes film and TV stuntman Riky Ash among its portfolio.

Alex and Mel are also members of the Lincs Community and Business project, which advises local businesses on how to benefit their community.

Mel contributes in terms of marketing and social media support, while Alex has created artwork and leaflets for the project.

In a similar vein, it also offers discounts for people receiving the New Enterprise Allowance – a Government scheme that can provide money and support for people starting their own business if they are getting certain benefits.

Mel said: “We understand that an unemployed person starting their own business needs a lot of investment for promotion and we are happy to provide our services for a lower price to help reduce the cost of their start up.”
