A TEAM of budding entrepreneurs from St George’s Academy in Sleaford have won the area finals of the Young Enterprise Company Programme with their stunning jewellery.

The students, all aged between 15-19, set up their own business called Precious and designed bracelets that in their words “won’t break the bank”.

One of three judges, Coun Frances Cartwright, for joint sponsors South Kesteven District Council, said: “They wanted to make something that people could afford to buy and were keen to promote their jewellery by saying, you don’t have to break the bank to give something special for Christmas”.

The team will now go on to the county finals at RAF Cranwell on May 1.
