Sleaford Town Team is holding its first official members’ meeting, to be held on Tuesday, January 13, at the Solo Club, Market Street, Sleaford.
The meeting starts at 6.30pm, but everybody is welcome to arrive from 5pm to network with each other and speak to the Town Team about membership.
The meeting will end at 8pm and attendees are welcome to stay in the Solo Club until 10pm to enjoy a drink and a chat.
Unlike future meetings (a full list of dates is available on its Facebook page www.face book.com/sleafordtownteam) which are for members only, this one is open to all residents, businesses and press, and Sleaford Town Team is extending an invitation to anybody who is interested in the town’s future.
As it is the first meeting since the Town Team’s launch, there will be a brief introduction to the team and then it will become a brainstorming session to generate and share ideas for Sleaford’s future. Attendees will be put into groups for putting forward their ideas – no matter how ‘out there’ they are – and then there will be a vote from all attendees on the top five ideas they would like to see the Town Team support or deliver in the future.
To keep track, people who want to attend are asked to message the Sleaford Town Team Facebook page or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
