TRAFFIC AND TRAVEL UPDATE - A17 will be closed for rest of today

THE A17 is being closed at the Swineshead Bridge level crossing from 4.30pm this afternoon for Network Rail to fix some loose concrete decking between the railway lines at the level crossing.

Southbound traffic will be diverted along the A1121 and A52 to the Bicker Bar roundabout. Northbound traffic will be diverted at Bicker Bar roundabout and onto the A52 towards Sleaford, then along the A15 and back up to the A17. The road is due to be reopen again for Friday morning’s rush hour.
