What should our transport priorities be?

GOOD transport links are essential in a rural county like Lincolnshire and the county council is keen to hear people’s views about what its top priorities should be.

A consultation is currently underway for the council’s fourth Local Transport Plan, which will set out transport policies and strategies for the next decade and beyond.

Coun William Webb, executive member for highways and transportation, said: “Most of us need to travel in our daily lives, to get to school or work perhaps, or to go shopping, so why not help shape the future of transport provision where you live?”

Organisations, businesses and residents are invited to complete a questionnaire to share their views on transport priorities for the future. The questionnaire is being distributed to those who have contributed before and is available on-line at www.lincolnshire.gov.uk/ltp4 or email ltp@lincolnshire.gov.uk or call 01522 782114 for a hard copy. The deadline for returning the questionnaires is July 27.
