Care home residents from across Lincolnshire got into the Christmas spirit and came together to celebrate, sing and socialise while enjoying a special pantomime performance.

The Orders of St John Care Trust (OSJCT), hosted its sixth annual Christmas carol service at Wellingore Memorial Hall on December 3.

Over 150 residents, volunteers and staff attended the event, which included a matinee performance of Jack and the Beanstalk, followed by lunch and an afternoon of carol singing.

Anita Rudd, Lincolnshire activities and volunteer manager, said: “Not only is it a great opportunity to get out for the day and spend the festive season with friends and other residents from across the county, but it’s also a very special time of year because it brings back so many fond memories.” Pictured are Carer Lottie Whitmore and resident Violet Whiting.
