Celtic rock sounds at charity concert

Celtic rock group The Band from County Hell are performing a charity gig at North Kesteven District Council (NKDC) this Saturday, February 25.

Chairman of NKDC Coun John Money has chosen St Barnabas Hospice Lincolnshire to be the recipient of funds raised from the night.

Coun Money said: “The Band from County Hell are well known in the area so please come along and support them, and, at the same time, help to raise money for such a worthy charity.”

The Band from County Hell have six acclaimed albums and more than 2,000 live performances under their belt, as well as being winners of the public vote at the Great British Folk Festival 2015.

They have previously performed with The Levellers and UB40, as well as supporting Stiff Little Fingers and New Model Army on their recent national tour dates.

There will be tickets available on the door, but in this 
case supper will not be provided.

Doors open at 7pm and there is a bar available.
