AN ex-Sleaford school pupil has been commended for his

excellent university work.

Former Carre’s Grammar School student Thomas Smith, who graduated from the University of Hull in July this year with a First Class honours degree in Philosophy, has been awarded the departmental prize for the year’s best
dissertation.

He has followed in his older brother Robert’s footsteps as he graduated from Hull with a 2:1 in Philosophy four years ago.

Tom now hopes to continue his studies in philosophy.
