Co-op cash for centre

A PREGNANCY advice service based in Sleaford has received a financial boost from a local business.

The Alternatives pregnancy advice centre, based at Clover House in town has been awarded £650 as part of £14,000 given out to local groups in Lincolnshire Co-operative’s latest round of Community Dividend Grants.

The £650 will go towards presentation equipment to provide programmes in school assemblies about parenting at a young age, guidance for young families, healthy lifestyles and careers advice.

Lincolnshire Co-op members who sit on the Member Services Council decide on grant applications to support good causes from a share of the society’s profits.
