A volunteer helper at a village charity shop has put her best foot forward to raise £334.70 for the good cause.

Glenys Wheadon who works as a volunteer at St Barnabas Hospice charity shop in her home village of Ruskington, has presented the money to the hospice after taking part in the Spires and Steeples half marathon, walking it in three hours. Chris Fox, community fund raiser for St Barnabas, said Glenys has done the trek for other charities in the past and it was fantastic she had now become so close to St Barnabas.
