Pamper event to support cycling duo

A charity pamper and gift fayre has been organised to support two Sleaford-based cyclists who are preparing to cycle across the Channel for charity.

Taking place on Saturday, November 24, at Leasingham Village Hall the event will include craft stalls including jewellery, cars and candles and beauty treatments such as threading, manicures, pedicures and massage.

The free event, taking place from 9.30-2.30pm, hopes to support STaMiNa cycling club founders Andrew Stevens and Tom Dean, who are planning to pedal400 miles from Sleaford to Paris in May 2013.

The pair, employees of Tulip at Ruskington, are hoping to raise £1,500 in aid of Breast Cancer Campaign and Variety, a charity which works with disadvantaged children.

To find out more about the duo’s epic challenge or to sponsor them visit either www.doitforcharity.com/tomdean or www.doitforcharity.com.astevens.
