Police have received reports of a series of shed burglaries in the Sleaford area, many at allotments in Heckington.
PCSO Patrick Welby-Everard of Sleaford Rural South Neighbourhood Policing Team said: “It appears that petrol driven strimmers, mowers and high value tools have been the target for the thieves.
“May I remind everyone that all power, petrol and high value tools should be taken home and not left on site, wooden sheds are easily broken into. Locks can be cut and hasp and staple latches easily forced.
“Should anyone have seen anything suspicious please call Lincolnshire Police on 101 and if it is urgent call 999.”
