Appeal for two young ‘Good Samaritans who helped elderly victim of collision

Further enquiries have led to Sleaford police wishing to speak to a pair of young skateboarders who stopped to help an elderly victim of a collision in the town centre on Tuesday.

The Sleaford woman in her seventies had been in collision with a vehicle on Carre Street at the junction with Handley Street just before 1pm that day.

Sleaford Neighbourhood Policing Team would like to speak to the two young men with skateboards who kindly stopped to assist the woman. They should contact PC 1143 Stainton by ringing 101 or sending an email to sleafordtown.npt@lincs.pnn.police.uk for the attention of PC Stainton. Refer to incident 164 of 10/3/15.

Police are looking tov trace the driver of the vehicle who left without giving their details after the collision. The woman was taken to Lincoln County Hospital with minor injuries.
