Appeal over £3,700-raid at Digby business

Police are appealing for information following a £3,700-raid at a children’s textile company in Digby.

The burglary took place at Shreds, in Station Yard, sometime between 5pm on Friday, September 19, and 9am on Monday, September 22.

An offender or offenders broke into the premises by removing several windows and stole a number of stock items, thought to include aprons, backpacks and suitcases.

The stolen items are thought to be worth about £3,700 in total and are very distinctive, say police.

Boxes they were packed in were later found in a lay-by at a nearby picnic site.

Anyone with any information relating to the burglary, or anyone who may have been offered any of the stolen items for sale, are asked to contact Lincolnshire Police on 101 quoting incident 94 of September 22.
