Chemical theft concern

POLICE are concerned after the theft of two drums of chemicals from Billinghay swimming pool.

It is believed the theft took place during Friday June 8 between 2pm and 4pm. It seems the thief has used some sort of Transit type of vehicle to take the drums full of chlorine.

Police are appealing for any witnesses as they are anxious that the contents of the drums could cause harm in the wrong hands.

INVESTIGATIONS are ongoing into why a vehicle was scratched along one side while it was parked overnight.

The criminal damage was done on Friday night June 8/9 on Haverholme Close, Ruskington. Anyone with information call police on 101.

A CATALYTIC convertor was stolen from a Mercedes Sprinter van while it was parked on Sleaford Road, Dorrington, between 11pm and 11.26pm on June 6.

Another was taken from a vehicle parked on Meadowbrook, Ruskington, between 2pm on June 6 and 3.50am the following morning.
