POLICE are hunting for a young man and woman who brazenly walked into a Sleaford shop and stole the takings from a safe.

The daring theft from an unnamed shop on Southgate, Sleaford, took place yesterday (Thursday) at 1.30pm when the pair entered a private room and removed the takings from the safe.

The pair then left the shop in an unknown direction.

The man is described as white, six foot tall, slim, with short hair, stubble complexion, in his mid 20’s, wearing dark blue jeans and a light waist jacket.

The woman was white, 5ft 4in tall, slim, in her mid 20’s with black shoulder length hair, wearing blue jeans, flat shoes and carrying a handbag over her shoulder.
