Police in Sleaford are treating a bin that was set alight in a village bus shelter as arson.

It happened in Main Road, Potterhanworth, between 4pm on Saturday May 9 and 10am the next day.

Anyone with information or CCTV footage of the fire should call 101, quoting incident 173 of May 17.

Meanwhile, a house in Park Crescent, Metheringham, was burgled between 10am and 6pm on Saturday when intruders got in through a patio door before stealing cash and a laptop computer.

When calling 101, quote incident number 355 of May 16.
