House and vehicle vandalised in Bassingham

Vandals smashed a window at a house in Bassingham before tampering with a tyre and aerial on a vehicle parked outside.

Police believe that a large stone was thrown through a ground floor window of a house in Eastgate where a vehicle was found to have a deflated tyre and bent aerial around the same time of the window being smashed.

A vehicle was seen in the area shortly before the attack, described as a Ford Galaxy-sized blue or purple people carrier.

Anyone with information should call 101, quoting incident number 430 of September 5.
