Large quantity of high value jewellery stolen from house in Navenby this afternoon

Thieves have broken into a house in Navenby this afternoon (Friday) and stolen a large amount of jewellery.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident reported at a property on Grantham Road/Crossfield Road in the village thought to have happened at about 1.10pm.

The intruders are said to have forced the back door to get in and take the high value jewellery.

It is believed that the thieves had a vehicle very nearby the property and police are appealing for anyone who may of seen or heard anything in the area at the time to contact 101 quoting incident 201 of 10/03/2017 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
