Daniel Galloway, 65, of Evedon, admitted aiding and abetting Carol Bowditch, 64, to have sex with three different breeds.

Bowditch, 64, of the same address, was given a 12 month community order a month ago after she admitted having sexual intercourse with an animal on dates between November 2011 and November 2014.

Galloway was jailed for 12 months, must register as a sex offender for ten years and was made the subject of a Sexual Harm Prevention Order.

Sentence had been adjourned on Galloway after he admitted aiding and abetting his partner to have sexual intercourse with animals. He also pleaded guilty to making 12,332 indecent images of children, distributing 1,863 indecent images of children, possessing 191 extreme images of Bowditch having sex with dogs and 29 prohibited images.

The couple’s activities were exposed after military police investigated a member of the RAF in Lincolnshire.

They discovered evidence of a bizarre sex party at which owners watched their dogs having sex with women and then went on to have sex themselves with the women.

Details of the event were later posted on an internet forum specialising in bestiality.

The investigation led police to search the Lincolnshire home shared by Bowditch and Galloway where they found a DVD and USB stick.

The seized devices included an eight minute video of Bowditch engaging in sex with a dog and still images of child pornography.

When Galloway was questioned by police he admitted aiding Bowditch to have sex with dogs and named two of the animals.

Victoria Rose, prosecuting, said: “Galloway accepted he aided and abetted his partner.

“He said it occurred after they watched some ‘doggy porn’ on the internet and he asked her if she would give it a go.”

James Gray, in mitigation, said both Bowditch and Galloway had suffered considerable public humiliation.

Judge Michael Heath, passing sentence, told Galloway: “It is beyond me to understand how you having a female partner stood by, and to go further aided and abetted your partner to have sex with three dogs.

“But that wasn’t the end of it. You also downloaded indecent images of children.”
