Man hiding in garden and pellet gun fired at house

A series of burglaries and anti-social behaviour have been reported in the Ruskington area over the weekend.

A red man’s mountain bike was stolen from a garage at a property on Jubilee Street, Ruskington.

It is believed the incident could have occurred in the last two weeks and the bike is believed to have been seen around the Speedway corner area on Thursday.

On Millview Road in Ruskington a man was reported to be hiding in the back garden of a property at 11.44pm on Friday night.

Police attended but were unable to find anyone in the area.

A poultry shed on Fen Road, Ruskington was burgled between 11am and 12noon on Friday October 19 and a Toshiba Satellite laptop was stolen.

A male youth was caught by police and given words of advice after going into a fenced off garden on West Road, Ruskington, on Saturday night, knocking on the door and running away.

Police attended and the youth was found nearby and taken to his home for a warning.

In a more serious incident on Sunday night someone fired a pellet gun, damaging a house window on Parkfield Road, Ruskington.

If anyone has information contact police on 101.
