Police alert after shed break-ins

POLICE are experiencing a large amount of shed break-ins in the Sleaford area over the last few days.

Incidents have occured in Meadowfield, York Road, Peterborough Way, Birchwood and one down Boston Road.

The neighbourhood policing team are urging householders to ensure sheds are locked and secure, as burglars are unscrewing the screws that secure the locks and removing gardening equipment and fishing gear.

Make a full, detailed list of property in sheds, including serial numbers and photos and mark your items with a security pen.
