Police hunt for young flasher around village
POLICE are redoubling efforts to find a flasher that has infrequently haunted a village over the last two years.
Pc Martin Green of Sleaford South Rural neighborhood policing team explains that over the last couple of years Heckington has suffered from a young man “flashing” at women.
The man tends to stick to the alleyways in and around the village. Incidents are irregular and often several months apart - the latest was reported on July 17. No-one has been physically assaulted up to this point.
He is described as aged 17 to 20, medium build, about 5 feet 8 inches tall with shoulder length dark hair. He has been seen more recently wearing dark coloured track-suit trousers and a grey fleece hoody top.
Neighbours are to remain alert and anyone who has not reported an incident should come forward. Pc Green says: “We are keen to identify who this male is at the earliest opportunity.” Call police on 101.
