Police swoop and arrest four

FOUR men have been arrested on suspicion of going equipped to steal diesel in Heckington.

Police made the arrests on Tuesday while investigating a suspicious vehicle on the A17 Heckington bypass.

A 38-year-old man from the Wisbech area, a 26-year-old man from the Boston area and two men of no fixed abode, aged 22 and 27, were all arrested in connection with the incident.

They are currently helping police with their enquiries at Grantham Police Station.
