Report of bogus callers in Sleaford

Lincolnshire Police received a report of potential bogus callers on Rudkin Drive in Sleaford yesterday evening (Tuesday).

Police say they have received a report at 5.30pm yesterday that two males went to an address claiming to be from the social services. No ID was shown.

The description was given as both short in height, one had brown hair and one black hair, with one wearing a white shirt. Both males left on foot out of the cul de sac.

PCSO Nic Page of Sleaford Rural North Neighbourhood Policing Team said: “Please be vigilant when answering the door and always ask for identification. If you are a witness to this incident or experienced this type of incident recently please call Lincolnshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 329 of 12/5/15.”
