Sleaford police have received reports of a series of shed burglaries in the Great Hale and Heckington area.
Items taken have included bicycles, electrical goods, lawn mowers, power tools and Christmas gifts.
PCSO Patrick Welby-Everard from the neighbourhood policing team has asked: “Could everyone make sure garages and sheds are secure. If the shed is wooden and hard to secure due to its construction please consider putting valuable items in a more secure location.
“Shed alarms are worth considering and are a relatively cheap way of protecting your shed and its contents. It is also worth considering drilling out screw heads so hinges or locks cannot be easily undone.”
