Sheds targeted by thieves on allotment and bowls club

Thieves have broken into a number of garden sheds on the Moor Lane Garden Allotments at Potterhanworth.

PCSO Paul Flannigan of Washingborough and Metheringham Neighbourhood Policing Team said the intruders have broken into the sheds by removing padlocks and have stolen items of gardening equipment.

The incident is said to have occurred some time between Monday and Wednesday this week.

There was a further attempted break in to a shed at the bowls club at Leadenham.

PCSO Flannigan said: “Unknown offenders have attacked the locking mechanism, but have failed to gain entry.”

This is thought to have occurred, between 11.30ham on Wednesday and 9am the following morning.
