Six people arrested in connection with assault

SIX Sleaford people have been arrested following a robbery at Haverholme Park and police are appealing to the public to help them with their enquiries.

A 27-year-old local man was hospitalised after being kicked and punched by a group of people who stole his wallet, mobile phone and a set of keys at around 11.30pm on September 6 at Haverholme Park, near Anwick.

A number of vehicles were seen in the area around the time of the incident and police are keen to trace the drivers and passengers as they may have information that could help them with their enquiries.

A silver Vauxhall Astra was seen with a man and a woman inside at the car park off Park Lane in Haverholme Park at around 10pm.

Another vehicle was in the car park at some time between 10.30pm and 11pm and another unknown vehicle was waiting next to a house in Haverholme Park between 10.30pm and 11.30pm.

The drivers and any passengers of these vehicles are asked to call DS Jon Shield or DC Keith Roberts via the non emergency 101 number as soon as possible, quoting Crime Reference number 3212**38883.

Five Sleaford men and one Sleaford woman have been arrested on suspicion of robbery in connection with the incident and they are currently on police bail pending further enquiries.
