Sleaford businesses hit in overnight crime spree

A YOUNG woman has been arrested after a spate of criminal damage in the town on Monday night.

Sleaford Picture Framing on Eastgate, Sleaford was broken into and items stolen overnight at around 1.45am, which were found later in the morning.

Arcade Cobblers in the Bristol Arcade were also targeted in the spree and had the windows on their front door smashed, and a number of criminal damages were also committed including windows smashed and vehicle wing mirrors broken.

Police confirmed that they have arrested one young female in relation to these incidents, who has been bailed until a later date in September, but are also appealing for anyone with information to call PC Keith McLardy on 101.
