SUNDAY 2.15PM: Police look for vehicles after reports of hare coursing in South Holland

There have been several reports of gangs looking to hunt hares in south Lincolnshire today.

Police have stopped five men from Kent in Metheringham Fen and another gang was stopped near Sibsey at about 1pm.

It followed the release of descriptions for four vehicles linked to hare coursing in South Holland this morning.

They were a white Nissan Torreno, registration number AR51 NWP, a white Mitsubishi Shogun (LF65 XEV), a white Toyoya Hi-Lux (LR15 XXL) and a grey Mitsubishi Shogun (R130 FAD).

TUESDAY 10.20AM: Reports of hare coursing in Deeping St Nicholas

A vehicle seen carrying two men and dogs has been linked to reported hare coursing, according to police today.

The vehicle, a green or silver Suzuki Vitara, was reported in the Deeping St Nicholas area.

Anyone who has seen should call 101, quoting incident number 93 of November 10.

Meanwhile, thieves tried to break into a vehicle parked in Deeping St James overnight on weekend at the end of October.

The vehicle’s window seal and a tyre were slashed while parked in the right hand side car park in Churchfield Close overnight between Friday, October 30 and Saturday, October 31.
