Police received four reports of break-ins in the early hours of yesterday morning (Monday March 13).

Incidents occurred in Millfield Terrace, Sleaford, Lincoln Road in Skellingthorpe, Croft Lane in Bassingham and Durham Avenue in Sleaford.

It is thought that skeleton keys may have been used to gain entry to the vans.

Lincolnshire Police have said in a statement: “Please ensure tools are not left in a van overnight.”

Where possible you are asked to consider removing high value power tools, and if you carry high value tools fit additional deadlocks to the van doors.
