Are you, or do you know, an Old Boy of Carre’s Grammar School?
Do you have all of your exam certificates?
Carre’s Grammar School has a large amount of uncollected certificates and staff would like to reunite them with their owners.
A school spokeswoman explained: “We are supposed to destroy them if they aren’t collected within a year but as they cost £35-40 each to replace we have not wanted to destroy them. However, some date back as far as 1996 and we cannot store them forever.”
They are, therefore, putting out a plea to ex-students and their families to spread the word and contact the school if they think that they may still have certificates waiting for them at school.
Any certificates more than ten years old which remain unclaimed after Easter will be destroyed as the school has limited storage space.
If you think the school has your certificates contact Mrs C Williamson on 01529 302181 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org
