The A level results at St George’s Academy in Sleaford were amongst the best the school has ever achieved, according to staff.
The students performed well across all of the subjects, with over 97 per cent of students passing their A level examinations.
Those students achieving the highest grades did especially well with over 31 per cent of students achieving grades “A*” , “A” or “B”.
The principal, Paul Watson, said: “These are fantastic results for the students and reflect the very hard work the students and the staff have put in over the year. The achievement overall is very good, but the number of students achieving the highest grades is especially pleasing.
“There were many fine individual performances and I am delighted that most of our students will be able to access the destination of their choice. A huge well done to everybody involved in the sixth form.”
