Children in all four classes, from age four to 11, have also been busy planning and preparing for an exciting end to their week on teh topic of ‘Enterprise’. While some of the children will be selling hand-made planting kits, others will be enticing visitors with their parade of potato products.

Evie Fisher in Moonstone Class said: “We have come up with a range of different and exciting ways to re-use potatoes and everyone in the class is preparing for a bumper crop of visitors.”

Vicky Cook, headteacher, said: “Children and staff have worked incredibly hard to put together what we feel sure will be a most enjoyable event for families and friends in the local area. We are hoping for good weather, but, if it rains, it won’t dampen our enthusiasm – stalls will be moved inside.”
