A pre-school nursery in Sleaford has so far raised £920 for its chosen charity for the year.
Eslaforde Nursery on Stevens Lane, off Westgate, has been fundraising for CLIC Sargent children’s cancer charity since September last year, donig various activities such as raffles, walks and fun days.
Their latest fun day last week raised £140 when children and families visited to enjoy the bouncy castle, nail painting, tombola, name the teddy bear and meeting Leo The Lion the nursery mascot. There was also a car boot sale at St George’s Academy which has supported them in their efforts.
Nursery manager Lisa Hupalowsky said: “We still have some more to add before the end of the year but for a small setting I think it is pretty good going.”
