Lessons at Kirkby la Thorpe CofE Primary Academy took on a French ‘flavour’ during a recent visit from the Sleaford and District Twinning Association.

Members of the association supplied and serves junior pupils with a French breakfast, featuring such treats as croissants, tartines, chocolat chaud and du lait.

Youngsters were encouraged to make their request in French, supported by the association.

Katie Gravil, headteacher, said: “It was a lovely opportunity to bring our KS2 pupils together to celebrate their French knowledge and skills, whilst sampling some delights. We are very grateful to the association for their time and for providing the French foods.”
