Sleaford and District Lions Club has been assisting Chestnut Street School in Ruskington with its gardening club project. Buildbase has supplied the base for a greenhouse which Lions has supplied.

The children have planted vegetables, some of which have been sold to fund further gardening projects and the purchase of seeds for the future.

The children are inviting the local church coffee morning into school to join them in the garden for a coffee morning.
