Kane scored 79 seconds after coming on as a substitute to cap a 4-0 win over Lithuania, and 40 children and 15 adults from William Alvey were among the crowd.

The Spurs fans at William Alvey, including assistant head Kim Camm – daughter of interim Sleaford Town manager Brian Rowland – were delighted to see Kane score.

She said “I like working at William Alvey but I love Spurs. Harry Kane is the new Shearer.”

Graham Almond, aYear 4 teacher and FA coach mentor who organised the trip, said: “Visiting Wembley was a great experience for the children. I remember my first England match; the crowd, the noise, the anthems, it was special.”
