With summer finally here and children keen to play in the sea and swimming pools, the message of water safety is ever important.

With this in mind, staff at Leasingham St Andrew’s Church of England Primary School organised a visit from The Royal Life Saving Association.
Sue La Roche, from the association, spoke to the youngsters about water safety – both around rivers and on the beach.

The children learned about the SAFE Code and carried out demonstrations about how they could help someone in trouble.
