Put forward by teacher Joanne Livsey, the boys used pocket-sized computers to gather data about their eating habits of one day.

Researchers at Lancaster University will process the survey results and will reveal later what the UK’s 12-13 year olds are eating and drinking.

The Crunch Project aims to help people think about how our food, health and planet are all interconnected.”
